The back end of the supply chain is the most fragmented area. The options can be overwhelming when choosing inventory origins, 3PL's or your own DC's, carriers, delivery solutions, and their associated costs. I will go over some of the trends taking place, along with the plethora of options, some pitfalls to avoid, and break them down into a summary of recommendations to conclude.
Biography
Phil started his career in 1987 with United Parcel Service and experienced 19 fulfilling years in all sales capacities for Southern CA including managing and developing sales teams, negotiation, and training sales managers in how to be more efficient and successful.
He moved to DHL eCommerce as the Western US VP of Sales in 2006 charged with building revenue in the infancy of the USPS Workshare space. He's led his team to produce excellent 20x revenue growth for multiple companies located in Texas to the West Coast. Today, his team has built many relationships with their clients through the team's consultative approach.
Phil has previously been a speaker/presenter at the Prosper Show and a Lead Panelist for the Retail Global Show, both in Las Vegas, NV.
