About David Schmidt
David Schmidt is a learner, a connector, and a people leader, with expertise in employee experience, inclusion and diversity programs and curating satisfying business culture. His authentic interest in people and their passions is the foundation for his successful leadership and engagement.
From a corporate perspective, David leverages his 20+ years of HR experience, along with leadership roles in experiential marketing and retail store operations, to create what he has coined, “Experiential Employment.” A philosophy built on the concept that, the best way to improve customer experience is through enhancements to your employees’ experience. A philosophy that has been proven effective in companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500’s and in industries including automotive, retail, consumer electronics and professional services.
Outside the office, David’s passions are in self-development, exploration, and entertainment. He’s is an aspiring author and an inspirational speaker. And most at home in front of an audience, whether that be to inform, influence, persuade, facilitate, or simply entertain.
