Musgrave Pencil Company has been making pencils in Shelbyville, Tennessee, since 1916. Today, we are the largest remaining pencil manufacturer in the United States, with more than 100 employees producing hundreds of thousands of pencils each day.

We partner with retailers, brands, distributors, promotional companies, schools, and organizations to create custom and private-label pencils ranging from small specialty runs to high-volume programs. Our capabilities include custom colors, shapes, imprints, graphite and specialty cores, ferrules, erasers, finishing options, and custom retail packaging.

More than a century after our founding, Musgrave continues to combine American manufacturing, flexible customization, and generations of pencil-making experience to help brands create products that are uniquely their own.
