Today's consumer expects nothing less than next day delivery, thanks to Amazon. While the nature of customized apparel makes that impossible, clients still expect their product done in less than no time. Much of the process is out of our hands, like vendors, shipping, and customer correspondences. We have focused on what we can control, our process, to lower the industry turn time of 15 days down to 7.
Our clients have customers who expect specific standards of service. One of the most frequently asked questions is, "When will I get my order?" The ability for our clients to see where their order is in the pipeline including the causes for delays means they can take action right away. Nomos acts as the intermediary that lets our clients know everything they need to know immediately which drastically decreases resources and time spent sending and responding to emails and calls for our clients and team.
Custom apparel orders can become complex very quickly. Different garment styles, materials, and colors affect the way decoration is applied. For instance, a customer may want the same logo on a performance jersey and a fleece hoodie of a different color. It takes a lot of work and attention to detail to make sure the decoration on those two pieces are consistent. That is what we deliver.
Most of our customers are salespeople. To them, the margin is everything. They want to know their exact cost instantly so they can create pricing for their customers. We have an in-depth pricing matrix but some custom orders do not fall perfectly into any category. If pricing is off, somebody is going to lose money, and that is never ideal.
